CGTN | China-EU Relations

CGTN | December 09 , 2023

This week, Brussels went to Beijing as European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen met Xi Jinping in person for the first time in four years. And what did von der Leyen mean when she spoke of “clear imbalances and differences” in trade between the two?

Joining Juliet Mann to outline their thoughts on this episode of The Agenda are Wang Huiyao, Founder and President of Center for China and Globalization, Jean-Marc Trouille, Director of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and Ambassador Piet Steel – Chairman of the Europe Asia Center.
